Be Careful Who You Share It With

Your dreams deserve protection, and the right voices around you make all the difference.

I’m really glad you’re here!

I want to say something to you that I’ve said in a lot of rooms over the years, and I mean it every time I say it.

Be careful who you share your dreams with.

Not everyone is going to understand what you see for yourself. Not everyone is going to know how to encourage you. And some people, without even meaning to, will say things that make you question something you were once sure about.

You have to protect your joy.

And when I say joy, I don’t mean something complicated. I mean that feeling you can’t ignore, the kind that makes you light up. For me, it’s as simple as the first time I had chocolate lava cake or a room full of confetti and color and balloons. It’s that immediate, undeniable feeling that something is right.

That’s what I want you to hold onto.

Because once you start letting other voices get louder than your own, this gets harder than it needs to be. You start second-guessing, pulling back, wondering if you should even keep going.

And I don’t want that for you.

If you’re here, there’s a reason. Something in you said yes to this. Something in you knows there’s more.

This space is here so you don’t have to figure it out on your own. And I want you to understand something. It’s going to grow.

You’re going to read things here that make you laugh, and some that might hit a little deeper than you expected. There will be conversations around the business, and there will be moments that feel personal, because this industry is both.

The workshops will stretch you. The agents you’ll hear from may be direct, but they’re honest, and many of them are people I’ve trusted and worked alongside for over three decades.

And the voices you’ll read in these blogs… they’re my people. My friends. People I trust deeply. I don’t take that lightly, and I don’t share that lightly either. I’m choosing to bring them into this space because I believe in what they have to say and what they can offer you.

So take it in. Stay open. Pay attention.

You don’t need to rush anything or prove anything right now. Just keep going, and don’t lose the reason you started.

I’m really glad you’re here and I'm so excited to watch you grow!

I'll be cheering from the sideline as your personal cheerleader - don't imagine me in the outfit - it will ruin your moment. But I swear I'm there!

Don't forget to chase your joy!
