What This Scholarship Includes

This $500 scholarship is applied toward the official ARTS Showcase Package (Value: $2,195) and includes:

Official ARTS Participation

• Official ARTS Participation Fee for the December Showcase

​

Coaching & Pre-Event Training

• Three (3) coaching sessions​

• Access to all pre-event online workshops

• Quarterly Group Development Meetings with The Dream Team

• The ARTS Journey: 12 Monthly VIP Sessions

At-Event Training & Performances

• Admission to all workshops and seminars during The ARTS event

• Participation in three (3) performance categories

  • Participant selects categories with guidance from ARTS staff (some categories require approval)

  • Options include:

    • TV Commercial

    • Film Scene

    • Voice Over

    • Improvisation

    • Creative / Theme Runway

    • Swimsuit

    • Singing

    • Dancing

    • Monologue

    • Photography

Industry Access & Community

• Individual interviews and callbacks with top agents, managers, and casting professionals

• Red Carpet Celebration & Awards Ceremony

• Post-event guidance and access to the ARTS Alumni Network (LA, NYC, Miami, Chicago, and beyond)

• Eligibility for scholarships from industry training programs and future ARTS opportunities

Additional Costs Not Covered by the Scholarship

These items are not included in the $500 scholarship and remain the responsibility of the participant/family:

• Lodging:

  • Required at the host hotel: Wild Dunes Resort

  • Current ARTS discounted rate: $189/night + tax

• Photography Performance Participants:

  • Must use the ARTS-approved photographer (estimated $200–$300)

  • Photography is highly recommended for all performers for marketing purposes,
    but only required for those enrolled in the Photography category

• Additional Performances:

  • Beyond the three (3) included performances: $75 each

  • Subject to approval and availability

• Optional Additional Coaching:

  • Coaching sessions beyond the three included: $95 each

• Observer Passes:

  • One observer pass is included for participants under 18

  • Additional observer passes: $300 each

  • Child Observer Passes: Free for children 4 and under,
    with a paid parent/guardian observer pass

• Any item or service not explicitly listed above

Scholarship Agreement

By accepting this scholarship, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

​

1. Understanding of Package & Policies

• I have received and understand the Applause International scholarship package and all policies, including the no-refund policy.

​

2. Confidentiality

• The details of this scholarship—award amount, payment terms, and package contents—are confidential.

• I will not discuss my scholarship or financial arrangements with other participants, parents, or guests before, during, or after the event.

• I understand that breaching this confidentiality may result in the immediate loss of my scholarship and any associated opportunities, at the sole discretion of Applause International.

3. Compliance with Rules & Expectations

• I agree to read and follow all rules, requirements, and event expectations as outlined by Applause International.

• I understand that failure to comply may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any payments made.

• I will maintain a professional attitude, arrive prepared with my performance materials, and serve as a positive example throughout the event.

4. Performances & Scheduling

• I understand that my scholarship includes three (3) performances at the event.

• My performance selections will be guided by ARTS staff and must be submitted in advance.

• Additional performances may be added (pending approval and availability) for $75 each.

5. Coaching, Workshops & Attendance

• I will attend all required coaching sessions, workshops, and pre-showcase training, including online sessions.

• If I am unable to attend a required session, I will notify the ARTS office or my coach in advance.

• If I need to cancel a coaching session, I must email my coach and receive confirmation at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $30 cancellation fee.

  • This fee does not apply in clearly communicated emergency situations outside of my control.

• One absence will place my scholarship under review.

• A second absence, for any reason, will result in cancellation of the scholarship.

6. Professional Contact with Industry Representatives

• I will not initiate contact with any agent, manager, or casting professional prior to or outside of the scheduled interview and callback times.

• Any unintentional or unscheduled contact will be reported immediately to Applause International.

• I will be professionally prepared with approved materials for all interviews.

• I agree to communicate all interest, callbacks, or offers from industry professionals directly to Applause International and will not negotiate or accept offers independently.

7. Mother Agent & Representation Clause

• I authorize Applause International to act as my mother agent and liaison for a period of 18 months following the event.

• I understand that this scholarship provides access and exposure, but does not guarantee contracts, representation, or agency placement.

8. Liability Release

• I release The ARTS, Applause International Inc., and all affiliated directors, agents, instructors, and staff from liability related to personal injury, property loss, or other incidents during travel to/from or participation in ARTS and its related activities.

​

Transfer Policy

• Scholarships are non-transferable.

• In rare, approved cases involving a documented emergency, participants may request a one-time transfer to a future ARTS event.

• Requests must be submitted in writing to Applause International and include a detailed explanation and supporting documentation.

• If approved, a $150 transfer fee will apply.

• Transfers are not guaranteed and are granted solely at the discretion of Applause International.

• All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstance.
